The Great Trail Hunt

August 26, 2018 marks the first anniversary of the unification of The Great Trail, the longest recreational trail in the world! To celebrate, Canadian Geographic Travel wants you, your family, and friends to get out there on the The Great Trail and win some great prizes.

There are 100 treasure boxes waiting to be discovered across the country by Trail adventurers. Clues about where to find the boxes will be revealed over the next five weeks on Canadian Geographic Travel at www.cangeotravel.ca/greattrailtreasurehunt. The first person to locate each treasure box will win a subscription to Canadian Geographic and a $100 gift certificate to Mountain Equipment Co-op with a total prize value of $130. But don’t stop looking if the treasure has already been located! Every person who locates a treasure box has a chance to win weekly prizes and will be entered to win the grand prize – a trip for 2 with One Ocean Expeditions!

Other prizes include a Nikon Canada camera, KEEN Footwear, a SPOT GPS device, MEC gift cards, Canadian Geographic subscriptions, Parks Canada passes and many others.
